Oregon Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is committed to engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to make disciples. As a coach, athlete or parent, you have influence and the direction you are leading matters. Where are you leading those within your circle of influence? Our mission is to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church. Wherever you are on your faith journey, we are excited to meet you where you are at and support you in taking the next faith step.

MEET THE OREGON STATE DIRECTOR

Kristen Rott

Kristen grew up surrounded by Godly examples of people who loved Jesus. However, as a student on a public-school campus, and as a highly competitive athlete, she found herself completely alone and unable to embrace her faith within her student-athlete experience. As a result, she knew how to be a Christian at church, a student in the classroom and an athlete on the court. Her identity became dependent on my environment rather than in Christ. When Kristen encountered the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, she discovered how her passions, interests, and strengths could come together in alignment with the Word of God. Now, as the state director for Oregon, and the multi-area director for Greater Portland, I have the privilege of recruiting, developing, and supporting staff, empowered volunteers, athletes, coaches, and church partners across our state. My identity is in Christ, and He continues to bless me and this ministry as we spread the Gospel and celebrate the wins of being disciples who make disciples.
